Tom serves as a Managing Director and Partner and Chairman Emeritus for Public Trust. In his role as Managing Partner, he chairs the Board of Managers and provides leadership and guidance across the firm to add value and create efficiencies for our clients. Prior, Tom served as Public Trust’s Chief Executive Officer. Over the past decade, he has been responsible for the overall management of the firm and supervising all business activities. Under Tom’s leadership, Public Trust has become a nationwide investment firm serving nearly 6,000 state and local government clients nationwide. At the most recent yearend, Public Trust has once again continued its growth achieving new successes including record assets under management.
Tom received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Marketing from Mercy College and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Financial Management from Fordham University. Throughout Tom’s career, he has been an executive leader having held both corporate and start-up board positions. Tom has led several community-based initiatives and remains active in several municipal government and school business financial organizations.
Prior to joining Public Trust, Tom was a Managing Director and Head of Sales and Marketing for two national diversified investment management firms. Responsible for the development of efficient programs for state and local governments, Tom focused on supporting clients to manage their short-term investments, operating cash, and bond proceeds more effectively. Tom’s management tenure also includes years of banking experience on operational, product development, and national distribution efforts.
