Public Trust Director of Investment Advisory Services Elected to Women in Public Finance National Board

Denver, Janaury 29, 2020 – Public Trust Advisors, LLC (Public Trust) is pleased to announce that Sheila Duffy has been elected to the Women in Public Finance (WPF) National Board for a three-year term beginning in 2020. Established in 1997, Women in Public Finance was created as a way to connect professional women serving the public finance industry. Over the years, it has expanded across the United States with local and regional chapters as well as hosting an annual conference that attracts more than 500 attendees. As of 2019, WPF boasts more than 800 members nationwide with twenty regional chapters.
Based in Denver, Sheila currently serves as a Director of Investment Advisory Services for Public Trust. She has a long tenure with the investment management industry, having worked in both the private and public sectors. Sheila is a frequent speaker at conferences and client trainings on current topics in the public funds investment management field.

“Women in Public Finance is an especially important organization to me because I get to connect with some of the most respected women in public finance across the country and stay current on the issues impacting our mutual clients,” said Sheila. “I am pleased that Public Trust sponsors two chapters, the Texas and Mountain Region chapters. It is an invaluable way for us to stay informed and share with our clients the current topics in public finance on a national level that directly affect their work.”

Both Public Trust and Sheila have been involved with WPF since 2015, with Sheila attending the national conference every year and Public Trust continuing to increase their sponsorship year after year. On this Board, Sheila will be joining seventeen women from a range of locations and organizations. We are pleased that she will represent Public Trust at the national level on this board of women who are leaders in serving the public finance sector.
