Sherry Villafane to Serve as New Vice President of Investment Advisory Services in Colorado
Denver, October 18, 2021 – Public Trust Advisors, LLC (Public Trust) is pleased to announce that Sherry Villafane has recently joined Public Trust as a Vice President of Investment Advisory Services based in Denver, Colorado, where she is responsible for managing client relationships and new business development throughout the state; she also serves as a cash management resource to current and prospective local governments. Sherry brings with her more than 20 years of experience covering the governmental and municipal investment space including time spent with the City of Aurora as a Senior Debt & Treasury Analyst where she assisted with the administration of a $1.2 billion debt and treasury portfolio.
Prior to joining Public Trust, Sherry most recently served as a Municipal Advisor for Ehlers Public Finance Advisors where she supported Colorado local governments and public agencies in the areas of debt, financial, strategic, and economic development planning. Sherry additionally served as a Director of Municipal Banking & Leasing for NBH Bank.

Sherry received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Metropolitan State University of Denver and currently holds the FINRA Series 50 license. She is an active member of both the Colorado Government Finance Officers Association and the Special District Association.
