Public Trust Advisors Announces New Director of Investment Advisory Services Based in Atlanta, Georgia

Denver, April 30, 2020 – Public Trust Advisors, LLC (Public Trust) is pleased to announce that Laura Glenn has recently joined Public Trust as a Director of Investment Advisory Services based in Atlanta, Georgia, where she will be responsible for providing individually tailored and customized investment management, administrative, and advisory solutions to public sector entities across the U.S. With nearly thirty years of experience in the fixed-income public finance sector, Laura possesses significant expertise and knowledge of local government investment pools (LGIP) that will expand the quality client experience associated with Public Trust.
Before joining Public Trust, Laura most recently served as a Portfolio Manager for the State of Georgia where she was responsible for the management of the State’s commingled LGIP with over $16 billion in assets under management, served on the Office of State Treasurer Investment Committee, and was the point person for fund distribution for more than 400 state and local government clients. Laura also previously worked for SunTrust Banks, Inc. as a Corporate Officer where she was responsible for management of the Georgia and Tennessee affiliate bank investment portfolios.

Laura received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Auburn University and is a CFA charterholder. She is an active member and former president of the Government Investment Officers Association (GIOA) and a frequent expert panelist on LGIPs at the National Association of State Treasurers (NAST) and GIOA Conferences. Most recently, Laura led the states response to the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) exposure draft on GASB Statement 79 regarding external investment pools and pool participants. Through her involvement in NAST and NASACT, Laura helped author the “Voluntary Guidelines for the Management of Stable Net Asset Value Local Government Investment Pools.”
