Public Trust Advisors Announces New Chief Executive Officer, Todd Alton, CFA®

Denver, Colorado – March 22, 2023 – Public Trust Advisors, LLC (Public Trust) is pleased to announce that Todd Alton, CFA® has unanimously been appointed by the firm’s Board of Managers as the company’s next Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Prior to becoming CEO, Todd previously served as Public Trust Advisors’ President and led the firm’s Executive Management Team. He has been instrumental in the enhancement of the services we provide to our clients. His deep industry knowledge has aided in further developing the firm’s investment advisory capabilities while enhancing the automation of workflows that are critical in providing client-centric services. Additionally, under Todd’s leadership, the company has increased scalability and expanded its nationwide footprint.

More About Todd Alton:

Prior to Public Trust, Todd most recently served as a Managing Director for Bear Creek Asset Management where he helped develop and expand their Private Equity platform and manage other elements of the firm. Over the past two decades, Todd led and managed business units and teams in such sectors as banking, investment banking, and structured finance. During tenures at CCB Corp and Piper Jaffray, Todd held roles in institutional bond sales, trading, asset liability management, as well as investment portfolio management. After the 2007 Financial Crisis, Todd led a unit of structured finance and commercial real estate experts at Frederick Ross-Asset Advisory Alliance focused on providing tranche-level assessments to special servicers of CMBS securities. He also served in public sector roles at both the FDIC and Federal Reserve where he was responsible for resolving failed banks, participating in material loss reviews, and serving as a subject matter expert in the areas of capital markets, interest rate risk, and commercial real estate lending.

Todd received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Arkansas, is a CFA® charterholder, and a member of CFA Society Colorado. He is an active member of Legatus Denver; an Economic Development Council Member for the Downtown Denver Partnership; an Advisory Board Member for Franchise Evolution Partners; and is a member of the President’s Advisory Council at FOCUS.
